Speaking of adult things...

All missing homework: completed and turned in.
Studying: not really
Dexter: Starting season 3. AH WTF at this show so far.
My grade should be pretty decent. Probably another B? B- at worst? I feel like I performed a little better this semester, but I had an unexcused absence which dropped my participation grade down to a B+, plus I did poorly on the quizzes (10% of the grade), but better on the exams (30%). Whatevs.
I have to clean my room before room check out, not to mention the usual laundry. I am sorely tempted to just put all of this off until Saturday so I have something to do before taking off for the German countryside. I cannot believe I will be on vacation in the country for two weeks - it just seems way too idyllic. Who the heck still does this? :P Assuming it will be something like a vacation for me as well, I have some reading on hand. Effi Briest, Die Verwandlung, and Jakob der Luegner. I am looking forward to finding a quiet place in the shade to read. Also looking forward to riding bikes. YAY!
Catharina wrote a prescription for Yasmin for me. It's a 6 month prescription and if I am reading her letter correctly it will be between 30-40 euro for six months. At first I thought it was for one month 30-40 euro but I don't think so, since birth control is super cheap here. I'm not 100% sure. I guess I'll find out when I try to get the prescription filled, probably
It just pisses me off that birth control is so cheap here but in the US they ream you every way possible. Even for generics. I think the US should buy a clue in regards to birth control cost.
I looked into the TESOL program at UNR. Their webpage greeted me with "Due to severe budget cuts at the university, it is proposed that the MA-TESOL program be de-activated for a period of five years. This proposal will be approved or disapproved by mid-May. You may wish to contact us again at that time for more information." They've been a little behind in updating but after searching The Sagebrush site, it seems it was deactivated for five years. I e-mailed them just in case. And surprise! In case this was something I *really* want to do, I can't even do it in state because UNLV doesn't offer it either. Way to go, NSHE. I'm of the opinion that "designer" programs should be offered at at least one in-state school, but that is apparently just too common sense for NSHE. My sister mentioned something about getting into out-of-state schools while paying NV tuition if the program is not offered, but I can't find anything and chances are it wouldn't apply anyway.
Suck.
