Vittoria gave me a sourdough starter at 12th Night, and I started it on Sunday or Monday evening. It's actually doing what it is supposed to! But oh my gosh, I've never baked anything other than cookies and cake from a box in my life, so I wasn't sure what recipes would be awesome. She linked me to Wulfric's recipe site, and I am now preparing the Baked Pastries. I did cheat and use yeast because my starter is so small but look at me! BAKING!! AH MAI GOD YOU GUYS! I am taking them to my work meeting tomorrow. I told Dominique I would bring cake, but I don't have it in me to bake a cake and then ice the damn thing.

So it needs to rise for about another hour, and then I will be good to knead.

I am totally wearing the apron Wendy made me too.

I might just eat some for dinner. Harhar. Just kidding. Out of points for the day. I made salmon for lunch and I didn't realize it was farmed and therefore higher points (wtf?).

Eff it, I'm eating whatever I want, no matter how reasonably unreasonable! (spoonful of Nutella, no. Baked Pastries, maybe.
