My sister called me crying about her antimalarial meds. I went with her when she got her shots and pills, but the doctor had to prescribe the antimalarial meds. The immunization office gave her a list with the names of the drugs on them, and I asked specifically "which ones of these cause hallucinations?. . . basically, which is ok to take, no hallucinations?" The lady wrote "yes, no, no, no" next to them. The one with the "yes" was the one that was ok to take. my sister thinks the 'yes" means it will cause her to hallucinate. She got that one , but the pharmacist told her it causes hallucinations and anxiety and now she is literally freaking the hell out and in hysterics. Oy. Good thing I remember exactly what the yes and nos mean.
