Join us for a fascinating look at the textiles of sixteenth-century Italy. Jan Loverin, Curator of the Nevada State Museum Marjorie Russell Clothing and Textile Research Center, discusses the fabrics illustrated in Raphael’s The Woman with the Veil, and explains the history and design of the lush textiles of the period.
These half-hour dialogues invite guests to experience an informal and intimate introduction to works in the galleries. $5 / $4 Museum members. The Art Bite series is supported, in part, by the Gabelli Foundation.
