The Clothing of the Renaissance World: Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas; Cesare Vecellio's Habiti Antichi et Moderni is $66.67 New on amazon. List price is $125 for this book. It's hardcover, and freaking GORGEOUS. I linked it for your convenience. It's also in translation, and has way more info in it than just the costume book in translation. It has a picture of an extant Turkish caftan, some color artwork, woodcuts, drawings, etc.

Color me thrilled. I am so happy to have made this purchase. I'm giddy, like it's Christmas. Definitely worse purchasing, imo.
