Awhile ago I mentioned on Facebook "Sekt ist ein Gift." Nate, who seems to think he knows everything pertaining to the German language because he spent a year living abroad in Leipzig* 2 years ago and is oh so cool asked me "Meinst du ein Geschenk?"

I said, "nein, ich meine ein Gift" because I literally meant poison because ich hatte einen Katzer.

Also: Embassy office in Bremen has weird hours. Must go to Berlin after all. Dang.

*Poor dude. Can't understand him most of the time because of it.
