Thank you, Macaroni Grill
Aug. 2nd, 2009 12:15 pmBecky is coming over for patterning today. I am actually hoping to get 3 patterns done for her today (early 16th century German bodice, 15th century kirtle bodice, and Dutch bodice). They're all pretty much the same thing anyway, right? If we get far enough, I am going to try to fit sleeves like Wendy does. I really don't know how far I will get, but I am going to try my damndest to get
greenbirds some patterns!
I am also cooking a scallop and spinach salad for dinner. I totally jacked the idea for 1/4 of the price from the Macaroni Grill. It will be delicious. Sea scallops, spinach, capers, roasted garlic, pine nuts, olive oil, lemon juice, and a lil' salt. I hope Becky likes scallops. . . but if not, I am making pesto too. Go go garden! It just cracks me up that for $20* I bought enough for four salads, yet one at the Mac Grill is $12. Dang.
* I bought Skinny Cow sammiches and coke zero too, and I am not including those or the cost of the olive oil I had to buy in that estimate.
